Awakened by a world so white,Canvas bright in morning light.Snow has come, soft and deep,Transforming streets in silent sweep.Schools closed, joyous cheer,Day of freedom, crystal clear.Children rush in eager play,Seizing wonder of the day.Snowballs fly in laughter’s ring,Snowmen rise, a winter king.Sleds race down hills in thrill,Time pauses, world stands still.In cozy homes by fires…
