After the Snow

After the snow,
A lonely flower tried to grow.
It rose from the ground,
Fighting to be found.
By a girl with braids in her hair,
Whose faith was in need of repair.
The flower grew and grew,
Waiting for the girl to come through.
To pluck it from its home,
As she continued to roam.
Waiting for her lover,
And a love to rediscover.

A Woman is Like a Rose

In hues of life, she softly grows,Each petal a tale, silently told.Through gentle strength, her grace flows,In gardens of dreams, she boldly holds. With thorns she guards her tender frame,Yet blooms with love, untamed, unscarred. In sunlight and shadow, she remains the same,A beauty profound, from the inside, starred. Her fragrance lingers in the air,A reminder of presence,…

    Things My Mother Taught Me

In morning’s light, her lessons weave,Through simple acts, what I believe. She taught me kindness, gently sown,With smiles that bloomed from seeds she’d thrown.By stove, she shared the art of taste,How flavors blend, and none to waste. Her hands, in dough, danced their ballet,A symphony of everyday. In courage dressed, her stories toldOf sterner days, of winters cold.Yet,…

    Poems About Betrayal of Love

The Echoes of Departed Trust In the silent spaces between us,Betrayal whispers its cruel tale. Not in words, but in the quiet,Where love once danced, now stale.Eyes, mirrors of the soul, clouded,Reflecting not what was, but what’s lost.Promises, like fallen leaves,Carried away, not counting the cost.In the echo of your footsteps,A story of departure, so cold. The…
