The Eagle Poem

The Eagle

Soaring alone,
above the clouds, its eyes
pierce far, sharp and sure.
Not waiting, not wondering,
it knows what’s needed
and dives.

A bird of prey,
fearless and relentless,
striking with a power
matched only by thunder.
Wings wide, cutting the sky,
unbroken, steady,
a force that commands.

Talons grip tightly,
what cannot escape,
gripping life in its claws,
pulling through the wind.

Strength carries the storm,
and the eagle never wavers,
carving its path
through skies wild and free.
Purposeful, alone.
It reigns, swift and sure,
a hunter without hesitation.
The bird of prey
The bird of prey

Inspiration Behind

I extended the poem about an eagle to show how the eagle never hesitates, never falters. I wanted the rhythm to feel as powerful as its flight, with every motion driven by purpose. Watching an eagle soar makes you realize it’s built for the skies, fearless, with absolute clarity.
