ROAD

You asked about the Road
I pointed to it
You chose another
Why are you blaming me now?
You asked what the Road is
“Love,” I answered
You chose control
Why are you crying now?
You asked what Love is
Love is Love
It loves and does not judge
Trusts and Accepts
You asked “How do I Love”
“Start with yourself,” I answered
You looked surprised
And still you are surprised
You asked “Where are you going”
“Into my life
“My ship is leaving”
”Stay”, you asked

      Mean Mom Poems

Mean Mom Frown lines like furrows, deep in thought, in care.Sharp words cut air,but her hands, soft in mine.Eyes stern, watch over, keeping wolves, woes at bay.No sweet lullabies—just firm truths, in love’s guise.Dinners late, but plates full, tales of caution, over warmth.Curfews, scolds, endless chores, her love, a fortress—covert, sure. A Mother’s Crown

      Mother’s Day Cup of Tea

Morning light, soft and pale,A quiet house, a steamy tale.Teacup clinks, porcelain sings,Her hands wrap warmth, love it brings.Gentle sips, the day begins,In her eyes, a calm that spins.A spoon stirs sugar, memories sweet,Every sip, our hearts meet.Today’s hers, in simple ways,With every pour, my love conveys. This cup of tea, a small decree,To celebrate her,…
