5 Little Snowmen poem

5 Little Snowmen

Five little snowmen standing in a row,
Each with a hat and a big red bow.
Out came the sun, shining bright and high,
One little snowman waved goodbye.

Four little snowmen, under azure skies,
Giggling softly as a birdie flies.
Along came a breeze, so swift and keen,
Another snowman vanished, now unseen.

Three little snowmen, with buttons black,
Holding hands, they never look back.
A warm wind whirled, playing its part,
Leaving behind two, with a melting heart.

Two little snowmen, beneath the sun's glow,
Feeling the warmth, time passing slow.
A gust of warmth, like a gentle kiss,
One more snowman, we'll surely miss.

One little snowman, alone with a sigh,
Beneath the vast, sprawling sky.
The day turns to dusk, with a night so serene,
Gone like a dream, no more to be seen.

No little snowmen, but memories stay,
Of laughter and joy, in winters' play.
Though they've gone, in our hearts, they prance,
In the magic of winter, snowmen’s last dance.

Inspirations Behind

As I penned “5 Little Snowmen,” I was inspired by the joyous laughter of children playing in the snow, building snowmen with care and delight. Each stanza reflects a snowman’s departure, symbolizing the ephemeral nature of life and the seasons. The imagery of the sun, the breeze, and the serene sky are metaphors for the passage of time and change. In my mind, I envisioned a winter wonderland, where each snowman, though temporary, left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who created them. This poem is a tribute to the fleeting, yet beautiful moments that shape our lives and memories.
